Here is an old study that I did back in 1994-1996. Earplugs have spread all over since I first put this info out many years ago. I'm glad that others are using them to teach how to make round objects also. ;D ;D ;D I paint the pearls with Flesh Shadow from Jane Marcks. I use her Dark Brown as a gray for the shadows (underneath the pearls which I didn't do here... but on the 3rd fire) and the 'smiles' on the pearls are the same but softly with the Dark Brown...used as a gray. Her e-mail is: Marcksartstudio@webtv.net It's a great sort of light tan color. I like it better than the grays as it gives a nice creamy look to the pearls. Better to wipe them out a little more than I showed here though. It's best to leave them almost white the first fire and then shadow, etc. later. __________________________________
