Hi Ann,
Thank you so much for the firing info on the large tile. I have fired a lot of pieces on edge like that, so hopefully, I can do this too. Still not sure as to the best tempature to fire it.

Dear Priscilla, This will be beautiful and that is a very large tile. I've had one crack in the firing before. So take it up slowly and it should be okay in a cone .017 or .016. It can go hotter for sure if you want of course also. But it is the slow going up (getting hot) that will help not crack it. Also, I agree....put it next to the wall at an angle. It will be fine. Can't wait to see it finished.

Dear Celeste,
I appreciate the firing info. I will probably do the first fire on this tile tomorrow. Will post another photo after the second painting. Thank you so much!

Here is the latest pictures of my large oval tile with peonies. So far no problems with these fires at cone 016. Still not sure if it is finished. This is the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th firing. Thanks for looking!

Priscilla, this is such a gorgeous painting. I just love your work, and your beautiful soft touch, and as June said this looks very Victorian. You are such a wonderful artist.

Dear Priscilla, This is another of your beautiful romantic style of flowers. Modern Victorian is 'in' again with decorators also. See here (scroll down to the modern victorian):
I love Victorian style for it's sweetness, and it's romance and it is never boring because there is something to look at everywhere. I love your style of painting also Priscilla. Very relaxing to look at.

Celeste, Thank you very much for your sweet compliments and the links were very interesting. LOL, didn't know there was something called, "modern victorian style".
